Marriot Hotels are known worldwide for their incredible service and attention to detail. CMG was tasked with building a marquee for a particular Marriot property in Manhattan. The marquee was to be electrically lit, but all of the mechanisms to achieve this lighting effect were to be hidden out of sight. The marquee also had to blend in with the existing exterior of the building, which was metallic and featured a storefront. The marquee was created off-site in CMG’s shop and was delivered to the Marriot ready to be installed. It was transported with a boom truck and then raised in the air and installed over two days.
